Ingredients

  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Pita bread or vegetables for serving
  • Instructions
    1. n a food processor, combine crumbled feta, Greek yogurt, olive oil, chopped roasted red peppers, minced garlic, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
    2. Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
    3. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more red pepper flakes for extra heat.
    4. Transfer the Tyrokafteri to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
    5. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
