- Rub the fish chunks with salt and a pinch of turmeric powder. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add the ground masala paste and cook for 5-7 minutes until the oil separates.
- Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, curry leaves, and tamarind pulp. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Pour in coconut milk and bring the curry to a gentle simmer.
- Add the marinated fish to the curry. Simmer until the fish is cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Adjust salt and spice levels according to your taste.
